Ulica Boldvin na Novom Zelandu je najstrmija ulica na svijetu – nalazi se u gradu Danidin i prava je turistička atrakcija.

Gradovi podignuti na obroncima planina česti su na Novom Zelandu, a jedan od takvih je i grad Danidin, u čijem se predgrađu nalazi jedna od najzanimljivijih ulica na svijetu.

Ulica Boldvin duga je samo 350 metara i zvanično je najstrmija ulica na svijetu, koja počinje umjerenom, laganom uzbrdicom, a zatim se oštro penje i pretvara u uspon od 19 stepeni.

Zbog velikog uspona, ulica Boldvin je u gornjem dijelu obložena betonom, budući da bi asfalt tokom vrelih dana i visokih temperatura mogao da sklizne niz strminu.

Ulicu su osmislili britanski inženjeri koji zapravo nikada nijesu ni kročili na tlo Novog Zelanda, nego su napamet napravili projektantska rješenja, gledajući mapu. Ulica je izgrađena sredinom 19. vijeka.
